Get in the field.

1.1.All transactions processed for The Ratchet Invitational LLC are completely final. Registration fees, whether for an individual entry or a four-person team package, are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable to future events.

1.2.This policy applies without exception to all circumstances, including but not limited to: participant injury or illness, personal schedule conflicts, failure to attend, or removal from the event for code of conduct violations.

1.3.In the event of tournament delay, suspension, or total cancellation due to force majeure, extreme weather, course conditions, safety directives, or acts of God, The Ratchet Invitational LLC reserves the right to modify the event format or cancel the event outright without any obligation to issue full or partial refunds.

2.1.By selecting a team registration package and submitting payment, you expressly represent and warrant that you are the designated "Team Captain" and possess the legal authority to enter into this Agreement on behalf of all named or unnamed members of your four-person team.

2.2.By completing this checkout transaction, you vicariously accept these Terms of Service on behalf of all individual participants included in your team registration.

2.3.You accept sole responsibility for distributing this Agreement to your team members and ensuring their understanding and compliance. Your digital acceptance binds all members of the registered group to the terms herein.

3.1.Standard Golf Hazards: Participants acknowledge that golf is an outdoor sport carrying inherent risks. Hazards include, but are not limited to, being struck by errant golf balls or clubs, erratic or negligent operation of golf carts, slip-and-fall injuries on uneven terrain, steep embankments, or slick grass, dehydration, heat stroke, lightning strikes, and interaction with local wildlife.

3.2.PNEUMATIC GOLF BALL CANNON (EXTREME HAZARD): The Ratchet Invitational LLC utilizes a high-powered pneumatic golf ball cannon during the event. Participants acknowledge that this device operates under extreme air pressure and propels projectiles at high velocities. Misuse, mechanical failure, or accidental discharge of this cannon poses a severe risk of catastrophic bodily injury, dismemberment, permanent disability, or DEATH.

3.3.Participants agree that they are voluntarily participating in this event with full knowledge of both the standard and extreme hazards involved, and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, including those arising from the negligence of the Releasees (defined below).

4.1.To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the State of Nevada and the State of Utah, you (on behalf of yourself, your team members, heirs, assigns, and legal representatives) hereby forever release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Ratchet Invitational LLC, its owners, members, agents, tournament staff, volunteers, sponsors, software providers, and the host golf facility (collectively, the "Releasees").

4.2.This release covers any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action for ordinary negligence, personal injury, property loss, or damage sustained during or in connection with the event, including claims related to the use or proximity of the pneumatic golf ball cannon.

5.1.All registration fees are securely processed via the PayPal API. The Ratchet Invitational LLC does not store or process your financial data directly.

5.2.Registration is only considered valid and complete upon successful authorization and receipt of funds by PayPal.

5.3.The Ratchet Invitational LLC reserves the absolute right to revoke, cancel, or reject any registration resulting from unauthorized access, fraudulent use of payment methods, chargebacks, or failed transaction attempts, without notice or recourse.

6.1.Registration and participation are strictly limited to adults eighteen (18) years of age and older. By accepting this Agreement, you verify that you and all members of your team meet this age requirement.

6.2.Participants must abide by all rules set forth by The Ratchet Invitational LLC and the host venue. The Ratchet Invitational LLC reserves the right to immediately disqualify and remove any participant or team demonstrating unsafe behavior, intoxication, or failure to follow safety instructions regarding the pneumatic cannon, without refund.

7.1.In the event of incapacitation or a medical emergency, tournament staff and volunteers are authorized (but not obligated) to seek emergency medical care, transport, or first aid on behalf of the participant.

7.2.All expenses incurred for emergency medical intervention, ambulance transport, and hospital treatment remain the sole and exclusive financial responsibility of the participant.

8.1.By attending the event, participants grant The Ratchet Invitational LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and irrevocable right to capture, edit, and utilize photos, videos, and audio recordings taken during the tournament.

8.2.These materials may be used for commercial, marketing, promotional, and social media purposes without the need for prior review, approval, or financial compensation to the participant.

9.1.This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9.2.Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement or participation in the event shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Utah, and the participant consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
